The New Year's performance "Snegurushka" at the Bryantsev Theater is a unique event for children and their parents. The production is based on the play by Mikhail Bartenev, known for his original take on Russian folklore motifs. Director Irina Kondrashova, a graduate of VGIK and the Moscow Art Theater School, has already won recognition in the field of children's theater. Composer Vasily Tonkovidov, choreographer Irina Lyakhovskaya, artist Pavel Nikitin and lighting designer Dmitry Zimenko also participated in the creation of the performance.
The plot offers viewers a new look at the classic images of Russian fairy tales. The play touches on stereotypes associated with characters such as Father Frost and Baba Yaga, who will be presented from an unusual perspective. Bright staging solutions and unexpected plot twists make the performance exciting and educational for the whole family.
Before the start of the performance, young viewers will be able to enjoy a festive interlude with Father Frost and Snow Maiden. Origami and face painting master classes will also be organized for children, which will allow them to feel like part of a magical world. Each child will receive a sweet gift, which will make the visit to the theater even more memorable.
